Cycling Infrastructure – Sun 10 Mar
On this ride we managed to unofficially open the new shortcut link to Filton Abbeywood station along the Concorde Way.
START: 10am Arnolfini
DESCRIPTION: Easy paced ride looking at segregated cycleways, shared spaces, crossing types, bridges and other forms of cycling infrastructure. Our in-house infrastructure guru will provide some commentary on the different examples. We hope there’ll be some lively discussion as we try to establish what’s good, bad and indifferent. Much of the ride will be around key central areas but we will also follow part of the Frome Greenway, Concorde Way and on to Henleaze before returning to the City Centre.
FOOD STOPS: Morning coffee stop; pub/cafe lunch; bring picnic if preferred
