Our friends at Bristol Bike Project are fundraising to transform their new home in Easton into a workshop fit to serve thousands of Bristolians and their bikes.
The Bristol Bike Project (BBP) is a brilliant part of the cycling community in Bristol and we are delighted to see that they have managed to secure their own new premises on Stapleton Road.
They need to raise £35,000 through a crowdfunding appeal to turn a former fishmonger into a bike workshop fit for the thousands of bikes that pass through each year.
We at Bristol Cycling Campaign want to sponsor one of their six workstand stations. This will be an ongoing demonstration of our shared ambition to encourage people to cycle, and to enable them to do so conveniently and safely across the city and region.
All contributions and memberships we receive from new supporters during May will be donated straight to The Bristol Bike Project, and we will match (double) the first £500.
This is great opportunity to both support the Bike Project financially and help grow the membership of the Bristol Cycling Campaign at a crucial time for cycling in our city!
